SAMPLE THICKNESS MEASUREMENT (STM-32)
The Sample Thickness Measurement system is developed for measuring of TEM samples in a non-contact mode. STM-32 
utilizes a compact laser source (Class II) as the measuring device and is capable of measuring thickness of up to 5mm. The
measurement accuracy is +/- 5um with a reproducibility of +/-3.5um. 
As the laser spot is only 120um in diameter, the STM-32 is effective in measuring the thickness of TEM samples during the 
preparation phase.
